Before coming to Grieve Law, attorney Lauren Evans started her career as an Assistant Wisconsin State Public Defender in Racine. Law school taught her the legal information, but here she learned people–real people, with real problems, facing a system that doesn’t always play fair. She is passionate about her work and understands that she is advocating for people who are often navigating the most difficult moments of their lives.
Attorney Evans is an Arizona native who graduated from Barrett the Honors College at Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in justice studies, with minors in both political science and music. She then received her Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law. While at Creighton Law, she was awarded membership to the Order of the Barristers, a national honorary organization that recognizes graduates who have demonstrated exceptional skill in oral advocacy, brief writing, and overall advocacy. She was also a law clerk for the prosecutor’s office for two years, gaining valuable litigation experience through trials, motions, and appeals.
Now Attorney Evans has litigated hundreds of criminal cases and has a proven track record of successfully negotiating reductions of charges and dismissals, as well as fine only or time-served dispositions when necessary.
Grounded in her belief that everyone deserves a strong defense, Attorney Evans is committed to guiding her clients through each step of the legal process with care and confidence.
